One day, a young couple was visited by Lord Dattatreya in their dreams. He promised them that he would be born as their son. Born as Manik to the elated couple, the divine child showed signs of spiritual maturity right from childhood. When he was in his teenage years, Manik's uncle banished him from their house because of his seemingly callous attitude. Manik then realised that his life needed to take a different route and set out to fulfill it.
